Chamunda Pharma Machinery Pvt Ltd was founded in 1981 in Ahmedabad , INDIA when a team of engineers designing a tablet press found that available tablet press technology couldn't meet the stringent demands of the pharmaceutical industry in terms of excellence in design, quality of engineering and service, delivery as per the customers' schedule and at affordable pricing. The decision was made to design and build such tablet presses that would suit the emerging needs of the Pharma sector with synergic integration of technology and human potential. After successful completion of the tablet presses Chamunda was established as a private corporation with the single goal of producing the most advanced, rugged and customized Pharma machineries available globally.

The chief founders of the organization are Mr. J. J. Soni (Chairman) and Mr. M. P. Suthar (Technical Director). The perspicacious business insight of the Chairman, technical excellence of the Technical Director and dynamism of the professional managers, massive speed in execution of the project by the executives and cohesive team-work at all levels drive the company in this new millennium.

In 1998 the prime importance was given to R &D and modernization of the shop floor , tremendous resources were provided to expand research and development projects to further enhance our products and strengthen our place in the worldwide Pharma machinery market.

In 2000-2001 bolstered by strong growth and backed by strong systemization and customization , we are marching towards new horizon of excellence in everything we do. Today Chamunda Pharma Machinery Pvt LTD is one of the largest international manufacturer of tablet presses (offering high quality tablet presses from 10 stations to 81 stations GIGA PRESS offers 0.583 million tablets / hour production) and allied machineries .

Now the company is soaring high and striving to gear up for the global competition in quality, value for money and service.
